    Default Ending a learning journal

Just a quick question. When a child leaves you do you finish their journal somehow or just give it to them as is? xxx

I do a little summary of their achievements, together with a next steps, that can be used either in their next setting, or by their parents in order to make their transition easier. I call it a "Transition Report". I also give two copies of the Learning Journey to parents. One to keep and one to pass on to the next setting if they wish.

    Hope this helps,

    L

I write a little transition report as well - just a few notes about what the child can do / say and what we are working on next
