Learning Journals - Should they be locked away?

I am due my first graded inspection "in the next few weeks" and I am trying to get all the paperwork organised. I only have one mindee at the moment and he is 29 months. Should his learning journal be locked away with his contract and personal information.?
I did plan to have all the official paperwork locked away and then a box with things I need daily such as diary, observation notes and learning journal. Would this be okay?

My Learning Journals aren't locked away - they are kept in a magazine holder/box on the floor where the children can access them themselves to look at the photos - in Nurseries they aren't locked away, so I don't either.

Thank you - that is my thought exactly. Also it's not practical to have a 'working document' that you need to refer to locked away! I think I am over complicating things. (again)

Mine are available during the working day and in a locked file box when I am not in the house or during the weekend.
