    Yes that is true...what is confusing is that the new framework ...as mentioned in the first paragraph....was introduce recently

    I will try to find our if the date is correct...I have not come across this article before .....intriguing to say the least!

    But didn't the eyfs get revised in 2012

    Yes ...EYFS was revised in 2012 and the inspection framework was revised alongside it
    Then came the 2014 EYFS revision and with that the new inspection framework...confusing to say the least

    Whatever the outcome it was good ...for me anyway....to read this article, which I had missed, just to know what is going on inside the inspectorate itself and the depth of unhappiness for those who inspect us

    This report is over two years old! This hit the news after the Revised Framework in Sept 2012. It is not referring to 2014.

    It was posted somewhere else and I thought it may be of interest to cms.
    It is an old article but how many of us were aware of this issue... even old news can be enlightening don't you think?

    as said I was happy to read about it ... share it...and be informed of what went on...it does explain a few things and what seems to have happened recently at inspections.
