Evening All!
Can anyone tell me is the minimum age of childminding 16 or 18? I cannot remember for the life of me and I am trying to write an assignment with equal opps in it and need to justify exclusion because of age.

To Dare Is To Do
I just googled it and found this, hope it helps
The minimum age is 18, although most childminders are older. Many have their own children at home.
The minimum age is 18. We can't hand over a child (ie at collection) to anyone under 16...though I have it in my paperwork that I won't hand over to anyone under 18.

It was my understanding that you need someone over 18 to sign the contract because you can't take someone under 18 to court for non-payment?
I thought that also Susi

That's what I thought, too. A teen parent is responsible for child but needs a co-signer for legal documents.
Why is "phonics" not spelled the way it sounds?
