They are lovely! I have two,and am always keen to show them off

This is Merlin, he's a 9mth Springer/Lab x with a bit of collie in him we think. He's such a softy and is currently training to be a search and rescue dog

And this is Kylah, our 2yr old retriever x. She's big and bouncy but soft as butter

Because they are both so bouncy they live in the utility room on the side of the house when I am working as its easier for me. They come out with us to the park etc, and as soon as the kids go home they come into the house. I'd love to have them in all day but I'd be a nervous wreck!

    LOL!

We used to have a springer spaniel called Henry. When he wasn't being arrested or drinking beer with students (both true stories ... ish!), he was the laziest dog in the world. If it rained outside, he would stick his head out, sneeze, give us a disgusted look and go back to sleeping by the fire for the rest of the afternoon!

We're hoping to get another puppy soon though.

My springer hates the rain too. He won't go out for his wee if it's raining and when it snowed he was scared of it coming down out of the sky.
He spends his day in the kitchen / den because he is still too bouncy / excitable around the LO's plus he steals toys, but he is pretty calm and happy to do so but the minute I finish work it's as if he knows that he can then go mad and he usually does for the rest of the evening.

    xxxx

I have 2 irish setters, Fergus and Baxter, they live in the utility room mostly during the day as they can be quite bouncy and I have a few mindees who are terrified of dogs.

    He's a right little wotsit!

He got to the kitchen worktop yesterday, took the lid off the butter and ate half of the tub and it was one of those huge tubs as well!

He's just turned 7 months, but he is so comical lol got such a personality

This is my two they are around all day in the house with us, they tend not to bother with what is going on, occasionally they show an interest in the goings on so we shut the stairgate and we are in either the conservatory or the living room and the dog in the other.

They are generally pretty calm all day just lazing around and depending on the weather and which children around they come out with us walking sometimes.

I never thought dogs and childminding would work and i am so happy that i decided that the rest of my life was important too and we could make it work.

We have Angus, he is a 7mth old Shih Tzu. He loves being with all the mindees and is surprisingly well behaved for a puppy!! He has free run of the house and so far it hasn't been a problem
