Default resources ideas for a disconnection schema please

Hi everyone I have a 2 year old with a disconnection schema, he used to enjoy taking things apart and putting them together again, eg duplo, but now he just likes taking things apart-anything-especially books! which is obviously quite challenging and annoying- so have thought about things like popoids, velcro strips, playdough but can't think of anything else? any suggestions welcome asap please!

    How about a tool kit?

And clear boundaries where books are concerned

I have Build it from ELC, like giant plastic meccano!
Bit pricey but worth every penny.
    Sticklebricks
old magazines/ catalogues/ phone books to tear (but not your precious books!)
doing junk modelling and taking it apart again
games like buckaroo where it all falls apart (might be too small bits for him)
unravelling old bits of knitting or weaving (obv. watching the length of yarn!)
    fuzzy felts
    threading reels

Just trying to think of things that can be undone without any damage!
