    Default Your hours/days

Just wondered what everyones typical day was like, when you start, finish and how many hours you do?

I just have a Thursday at the mo with twins
    11:30am - 4:30pm so 5 hours

    but hoping to get Tuesdays
    11:30am - 3:00pm too so 3.5 hours

    and from February
    another 4 days
    6:30am - 10:30am and 3:30pm - 7:30pm so 8 hours day 32 hours week

At present I work Monday - Thursday 7.30 till 6.00, but I only have 1 mindee during the day on Mon, Tues and Weds, (and 2/3 before/after schoolies) but 3 on a Thursday (and 3 after schoolies)! I would love to condense my days more and ideally I would love 2 mindees each day (maybe I'm just being picky but one of my 3 on a Thursday is my screamer and I find it very hard work) and get a Monday off too, but even tho the mum who's lo I have on a Monday asked at one time about changing to a Tuesday so far its not happened

    just now 3 11 hour days and 2 10 hour days .
Then from january 7.15 to 6.30 , 5 days a week - not ideal but I have to take what parents need , certainly cant afford to turn down fulltimers just because of the hours. Could wait forever for that 'perfect' enquiry!

Hi, my hours are forever changing! but at the moment I am working

    Monday: 11.40am-6.00pm
    Tuesday: 11.40am-6.30pm
    Wednesday: 8.30am-5.30pm
    Thursday: 8.30am-6.00pm
    Friday: 11.40am-6.30pm

So at the moment that's around 38 hours a week, in February one of my mums comes off maternity so I will be starting at 8.00am on a Tuesday and Friday again, taking it up to around 45.5 hours a week (argh!, lol)

Nine times out of ten I end up working hours I don't want to work due to existing parents changing days and hours!!! How can you say no to an existing parent?!

    My typical week:

    Monday:08.30am until 5.30pm

Collect 2X 1yr olds from school car park (parents dropping off other older children), 1X3yr old mindee goes to pre-school from 9am until 12.30pm.

    Tuesday: 3.30pm until 6pm

Have morning to myself and then have 1 X 5yr old afterschooler who loves to play with my DD2

    Wednesday:7.30am until 5.30pm
Take 1X 3yr old to pre-school at 9am and collect at 12.30pm, have 1X 1yr old all day.

    Thursday: 7.30am until 3pm
Have 1X3yr old and 2 X 1yr olds all day, my own kids go to an afterschool club so I get 3pm until 6pm to myself for paperwork.

    Friday: 08.30 until 1pm
    Only have 1 X 1yr old

Suits me fine at the moment, but would like to have some more mindees on a Friday.

    Weds - 7.00-6.00
    Thurs - 7.00-6.00
