    Default maternity leave for parents

    Hi all
sorry been a while but i hoped you wouldn't mind helping me if you know the answer.
If a parent goes on maternity leave but still.wants me to have toddler as she returning to work and keeping space will she still get help with tax credits or as she is not officially working will they stop the childcare element to her?
As if so i may lose child and she takes the chance on the space still being available.
thanks to anyone who knows xx

My daughter is on maternity leave, it doesn't affect the childcare element of her tax credits as shes still classed as working. HTH.
