Hi, I've been asked by a nearly CM what they will need for the ofsted pre inspection. What's the current advice on this?

A rough idea of the EYFS - both parts, and the L&D requirements
    CRB
    Start to do Risk Assessments
Safety gear either in place or an idea of what she'll have in when the registration comes through
Some ideas about activities (although these are dependent upon age and ability)
    Draft policies and procedures
    A thorough knowledge of Safeguarding.

It's pointless getting all your RAs and safety equipment in pre-reg as it's all wasted if Ofsted say no.

The main advice I'd give is join the forum as it's the best resource for ideas and support!

That is just my opinion of course (based on what I recall from my pre-reg) but the last piece of advice is clearly gold!

The last piece of advice is the first one I gave her when she asked!
I can't remember anything about what I needed. It wasn't even that long ago She says thank you very much, by the way x
