Play house, I have put a toy kitchen in mine and it gets much more use than the slide

Personally I wouldn't get either... I recently had both and they took up tons of room but didnt really get used.

But if you want to get one or the other choose the one which can be more open ended.

what can you use a slide for?

What can you use the playhouse for?

How about looking on E-bay, or even better, a car boot sale. That way you could have both! xx

Thanks but sadly I can only get one even if it's from a car boot! For financial reasons aswell as space! Love the idea of putting the kitchen inside the house!

    We have both

I think the playhouse is better as it can be used for many differant scenarios, Shop, Doctors, vets, Post office, home, etc. At Xmas we decorate it out with lights, Gnomes and make it like a grotto.

i have the little tikes thing. an open roof playhouse with slide coming off it, tunnel attaching it to a platform with another slide. sling a throw/blanket and it's a den or playhouse roof.

got it second hand for £75 - even my 9 year olds play on it. it's an old one so good chance of picking up on ebay or gumtree .

    Playhouse

I invested in a new wooden one to replace the small plastic one and it has been used everyday since. Comes in very handy to store garden toys too

I also have a slide which is used pretty much everyday too but not for as long.

Depends on how old the children are - the smaller plyhouses are great but no room for over 3-4s and playkitchen etc. Mine is a bit redundant just now as I have babies and older kids but 2 -3 year olds love it.
My little tikes slide is used loads but its a double decker one and they use it as pirate ship , den , we put tubes from it to roll the cars and balls down. not sure how much use a standard slide would get here.

    Definitely play house!!!
I have quite a small one but its raised slightly and is amongst the trees and bushes so the kids call it the tree house. Kids form 2 to 10 use it and its amazing how many schoolers can fit inside it!

Playhouse!!! I only have a small little tykes slide ( worried about mindees falling off anything too big ) I have 2 playhouses One largeish one at the bottom of the garden with wooden kitchen, prams, etc in (used my funding money ). Other is a much smaller one which I have on the patio so the children can use it even when the grass is wet. This has a plastic kitchen one side and a workbench the other.

As from Sept the oldest mindee I will have during the day will be not quite 2, so I will use mostly the little playhouse and shut the other one up except for days it is really nice after school!

I got both. Wooden wendy house is now 21 years old, and we have just painted it green with plant pot holders on it to bright it up. The LO's love it and its great for storage. The slides are used but they are not as popular as the house
