Blimey you have loads of policies!!!!!!!!

Couldn't see one for risk assessments or computers?

Also my independent arrival policy includes independent departure but you might have that covered in your departure policy?

What is your chopping board policy? I have never known anyone have one of those.

I don't know where I got chopping board one from but I hardly made the idea up from scratch - perhaps I was told I should have one on food hygiene training or something you are more than welcome to it if you would like and adapt it to your needs
I've never had anyone look for independent departure so no that is not covered - OMG never thought I would have to have one on Risk Assessments but I'm sure I've covered that in my Health & Safety - I hope I have - will check and come back to you - what sort of things should I include in that - As for computers - I'm sure I've included that and having ICO licence included in confidentiality policy - must go back and have a good auld check of that!!! - Is that all that should be included in a computers policy????

My - how do you find time to check and review all these - I am impressed although do not intend to have as many - in my opinion many are not needed and can be covered within more generic policies.

    Confidentiality
Accident and emergency including diabetic emergency
    Illness and infectious diseases
    Medicinces
    Behaviour

    Cheers,
Cant think of anything, you have billions!!

Mind you this afternoon I was sitting quietly counting out my tesco vouchers and over the wall came a flying stick. Half an hour earlier a baby had been asleep in the garden! After I'd been out and berated the child who threw it I came in and wondered if I should have a low flying missiles over the wall policy (actually risk assessment).

I think you probably have enough!! Dont forget to date them and sign them all and put a review date...

    Penny
I just seem to do nothing but paperwork - I got most of them from the Bromley site, bought others and merged them with the Bromley ones and then wrote others as and when I went on training and others I got from here. - I had them all in place but not in the exact form they are in now (due to introduction of EYFS, knowledge and experience gained and very regular reviews) at my first inspection 3 years ago and the inspector never said I didn't need them all she just said I wasn't required by law to have them but if they are not in writing how do you remember to tell everyone exactly what your policies are or prove what you have told them. - I know we are now required to have some in writing and have to have certain things included in them and I've done my utmost to ensure they are all in keeping with the requirements. So yes Penny there is a great deal of work but I don't make many fundamental changes to them I just fiddle about with layout etc while I'm reading and checking them.

I'm not that bothered about the premises & resources ones because I'm sure that I have it all well and truly covered in daily checks, risk assessments and other policies - I just wondered where I got the two titles from thats all and felt if I'd had them before I must have had them for a reason.

Thanks everyone for your help and advice

    Cheers,
    Celest
