I had to tell parents that i would not be able 2 work with two weeks notice Its usually 4 but unfortunately had to be done.. I will be having tomorrow of at the same time they then told me they would have the friday of 2 weeks notice.. again states 4 weeks.

she has paid me for two days and i dont feel i could ask for them to pay for the friday I tried to but they are from latvia and the language barrier is not clear

would you charge or not?

says 4 weeks notice but i only gave two weeks to have this urgent day of.. but 4 weeks for parents to give notice may let them of

well personally if they didn't give notice, I would charge.

I would think about changing your notice period for these urgent days.

I have a 2 weeks notice for single days, 2 weeks for more than 1 day and 4 weeks for more than a week.

For my hols I state that I will endevour where possible to give min of 4 weeks notice but this is no guarantee. I do not get paid for my hols.
For parents they need to give me min 4 wks notice to pay 50% otherwise it's full fees.

We all need the occasional emergency time off and we can't always give much notice.
