Default Well mrs o has left the building

she was here just over 3 1/2 hours. I got an over all GOOD. I got a satifactory in my Self eveluation as i said theres want anything other then training that i wanted to improve my setting on.
    I got 1 area of OUTSTANDING .
So am over all very pleased. I still cant believe that i asked to be re insected but im glad i did and thats it for 3 years.
The only thing i wasnt happy with is the fact that she knew it was a re inspection and that she could see my recamendations from the last inspector.

she said i cant have it changed until the 31st aug as my daugters still in the eyfs.

I also was told that i have to do learning jornales for children that are in full time school and link it all up. didnt think we had to do this once they were in full time school.

First of all A Very Well Done, good for you for standing your ground
Second, do they grade you for your SEF, or have I read that wrong?
Lastly, I didn't know you had to do Learning Journeys/Journals once they went to school, I thought it was up to school to monitor their progress!

Children are in the Eyfs up to the end of the summer after they have finished their reception year at school.

Right up until this time they need to be included in your learning journals / observations / assessments / planning etc.

Thank you for that, sorry I should have been aware but I.ve never been on a course or had advice re EYFS, we seem to have been just left to it!

I was told that once a child in in full time school (ie Reception class) one observation per term is sufficient for EYFS, as school is the main provider.

    Hi

Well done you! I too had problems/concerns with my recent inspection & so have complained. Im hoping for re-inspection. I hope it goes as well as yours if I get one.

This is what i thought as well. she just said i needed to be doing a little bit more once their in full time school.

I had one action which was to add aligations against myself to my safe guarding policy as i'd lost it.

Well she rang last night and said if i could tell her what it said she'd take it off as an action!!!!
