My little visitor today.....

Hi,

I had my Childminding Developement Officer come this afternoon. She was really pleased with everything i was doing (told her about the great help I get off this forum ) She checked I had all my paperwork in order and gave me a little more guidance on the EYFS.

Towards the end of the visit we were talking in general about Ofsted, inspections etc. She then told me she used to be an Ofsted inspector

But on a good note, told me I shouldn't have any problems getting through my inspection

One or two of the development officers in my area are ex Ofsted inspectors. Just remember now she's on your side

Mine is an ex inspector too ( same one as Miffy I think?) - very handy just before my inspection when I asked her to come over and check whether Id forgotten anything!
