    Default First Aid Kits

Could anyone tell me what items are required in my first aid kit please - and also which items need to be 'sterile' - and also the quantities??? (and also any other items that might be useful)

Also what items will I be required to carry in my travel/car/outings first aid kit (& quantities)

I already have several first aid kits and am looking at pulling them together to make my final one but really unsure as there is so much conflicting info

    Default Re: First Aid Kits

I have just done my first aid course, with St John Ambulance, and in the booklet it has a list of what stuff we should have in there.

I questioned as to whether ofsted actually know also, and apparantly they work with them so should...

    So, it's

    NEED
10 plasters of assorted sizes (hypoalergenic)
    3 medium sterile dressings
    1 large sterile dressing
    3 small sterile dressings
    1 ex-large eye bandage
    2 triangular bandages
    6 safety pins
    disposable non-latex gloves
2 small plastic bags (disposal of soiled wipes & dressings)
1 guidance card & contents list

    USEFUL ADDITIONS
    round ended scissors
    gauze square swabs
    adhesive tape
notepad & pencil (for recording incidents)
    resuscutation face shields

    HTH

    xx
