Default to buy or not to buy that is the question...

Just been to preschool and they are selling their small world play table- the type with big drawers on castors from Great Little Trading Compay. Its HUGE though, but I REALLY want it

Hubby may well kill me, but I'm not sure I can walk away as they only want a bargainous £30 for it!

    Should I .......????

I don't know the one you mean, but you know best what your setting/home needs. If it can make your life a little earlier with the orgainising then sounds good!

I just spent £80 on a sand & water table. It wasn't the cheapest but looks stirdy for my two one year olds to lean up against whilst having fun! Now must get some sand...

    Its like this one

    http://www.gltc.co.uk/fcp/product/-/...e-Drawers/1061

I could re jig my playroom, but that would mean losing either my low level (very expensive!) mirror, or my little role play corner I have created, which the kids do love. Hmmmn, the extra storage would be handy though and hopefully it would mean less toys to trip over on the floor, and they could roleplay elsewhere....

Methinks I may be trying to justify it to myself lol

    Your sand table sounds fab

I wonder if you could treat it with a varnish for outside

I bet it would be great in the garden

    What a bargain!

Buy it first then worry about where to put it later

After a while, if you do decide it's too big, I bet you'll be able to sell it for as much as you pay for it (if not more!)

For £30 I would definitely buy now and sort it out later!! It's a bargain. I'm going to be buying an active world tray and stand from TTS and now my DH will hit the roof but it will be worth the argument lol

I'm with Beetlejuice,I would buy it and worry about it later. You could always buy a waterproof cover for it and keep it in the garden. I would love one of those

My friend has one and has found that the children really need to be able to get at it from all sides to make best use of it.... the draws are huge and very accessible for storage.... I like the varnish idea!!
