I dislike cough medicines with a vengence!

If a parent brings a bottle I always refuse to give it to the child.

If you ask a doctor for cough medicine very few will prescribe it because as my doctor said to me the main reason you cough is to remove mucus from the chest.....if you surpress the cough then the muscus cannot be expelled effectively.

Im not a fan of cough mixtures for little ones - unless occasionall at night so they can get a bit of sleep. I'd rather they coughed up what was inside!

I don't use any of these thankfully, actually I am not a believer in cough medicines either.

I'm in for fun. My other job is as a pharmacy assistant. Calcough got removed last week with no reason why. I saw it on the news and they said only 6 but mentioned the guaifenesin i wondered why only a few were said as that is the most common chesty cough ingredient. Lots of unhappy parents i think they get annoyed that they can't have chest mix under 1 as it is.

Lots of happy customers who are already annoyed with decongestions being resized which are more then likely going to be otc or even p medication.

Quite suprised went in today and expected to be told what the protacol was. We were slowly being emailed by head office to remove certain ones of the shop floor. Nothing was said about selling to over 2s only.
