    Dear xxxx

It is with regret that I have to inform you that I am cancelling the contract as from the date of this letter. In accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract there is a 4 week notice period and therefore the last day of childminding will be ***********. I will issue a final invoice on the ***date***.

You don't have to put a reason in but if you wanted to you could say: change of circumstances, reduction of working hours etc

This is the telephone number of Families information service or if you would like I can perhaps supply numbers of childminders who you may be interested in approaching.

I have enjoyed caring for *********** and I will miss them very much.
