it doesn't have to be on all 3
I have wondered this because he says his mouth hurts too!!
Poor little mite - get mum to have him checked out at the drs

I would say the same!
Poor thing, my mindee had this last year and it wasn't nice (nor helped by fact mum helpfuly packed salt and vinegar crisps and pineapple chunks in the midst of it! yeeeeowch!!)
Is this something he has to be kept off with? he has a rash coming under his bottom lip on his face!
poor thing it does sound like hand and mouth and is very common with lo but also infectious so best get mummy to have him checked by g.p or pharmacist.
hope hes well soon.
There's no exclusion period no, as long as child is well and able to take part There's no treatment either, just symptomatic relief like calpol etc. If you think he should be at home then that's your call
one of my mindees (and his mum) had it really badly in their mouth. I would exclude or it means no toddler groups etc, or the other mums/minders wouldn't be too happy with you. I stayed in with mindee for 2 days then told mum I wouldn't have her on x day as the other mindee needed to get out for a while.
hes off to docs in min so if its confirmed should I say he cant come back until at least Monday?
It's your decision - it's a bit like conjunctivitis - no exclusion period but highly contagious.
Personally I would ( I do for conjunctivitis too) because it is contagious and he may pass it on to you or other mindees and trying to keep up with cleaning toys would be a nightmare.

Ive just said 48 hrs, if I didnt have so many children in it probably would of been ok!
Thats what i would of done and what i do with conjunctivitus. hope he feels better soon
