Just want to say thank you to hebs, Encouraged me to ring a parent last night.
Visitied parent tonight, i now have 2 new full time mindee's 3 yr old and 18 month's, starting Monday! Kids seemed to take to me and chatted away to me. Felt comfortable and im charging higher fee's than i have been.

Sometimes it takes a friend to push you, we had an enquiry some while ago for two schoolies from a different school to our normal one and their little brother full time, we ummed and aarghed and said we thought it would be too much.

My cm friend pushed us nicely to rethink and plan our stuff with her, we realised we were being reluctant and lazy for no real reason, and thought come on give it a go, rang the lady back and said we had thought our plans out and realised it was more manageable, we have had the children for some time now and have gained other work from the second school, and the income from them has been a real boost!

Sometimes it takes someone else to help you realise, I am so grateful to the other childminder for pushing us to think sensibly!
