The Mum of my 9 month old mindee came to pick him up a bit early today and because she is on hols for next 2 weeks then me for the 2 weeks after, she brought me a bunch of flowers and said thank you having him this term. I've only been looking after him since the beginning of May, but she said i have made it so much easier for her to go back to work (originally she wasn't going to go back until this sept) because she knows he is really happy here (she is always saying lovely things like he gets really excited as they are walking up to my door and I am the only other person he holds his hands out to to be handed over from Mum, including his Dad and other family!!)

It just makes it all worth it having lovely parents like that who make you feel really appreciated.

My house looks like a florists. 4 mindees have left and I have lots of flowers and chocs - hope to get good references too
