Highchair or Booster - 6 month old

I'd go for the booster seat. They're much more versatile, as baby grows they can sit at the table with everyone else & also be used for messy play at the table.

i'd go for a booster seat too!

i have the trip trap chairs for the table, but little ones go in/on boosters either with tray or at the table, until they are safe to sit on the 'high' chairs!

I would go for the booster seat too, you will get loads more use out of it!!!
I have one similar, it is great . I have used it for my children and mindees from 3 months up, as you can tilt it which means they don't have to be able to sit up before they use it. I personally would not use a highchair with a child who could not support their own weight sitting unless it could tilt. I also find it easier to clean than the highchair.

I have a highchair, the main reason is that I only have a 4 seater table and a the highchair adds a seat which means we can all sit down together.

I use a booster - we only have a small house so it saves space. And when the baby's not here it's much easier to store.

I use portable booster seats and often sit three around on a mat on the floor to do messy activities or lunch, then collapse them down and put them away.

Highchairs take up too much space and are big to store, so i would only have if space and storage weren't an issue.

I have a high chair and 3 basic booster seats have to admit i hardly ever use the high chair.

Only thing is i have to watch they don't kick the table and try and push the chair back over when they get a bit bigger

I use both, but i mainly use the booster chairs as these are easier. my high chairs do fold up, and i put them under the stairs.

hi, i would but the booster. my friend has that exact highchair and she finds the 1 year ols she has in it tends to slip down in it. i have a very simular booster and love it.

If you are near to an Ikea then I highly recommend their highchairs, they are under £15 with the highchair, tray and a blow up insert for supporting smaller babies. My DD couldn't sit unaided till she was almost 10mths but could sit in the Ikea chair with the insert.

I don't think it matters - either would be suitable but I think of storage.

I use a booster for my dd and going to get another one for minding, my dd is 2 and still use it as my table is quite high

Booster seat it will also save your money in the long run.
