August Off

Don't know how this has happened but I have August off!

I booked 2 weeks holiday at the end of the month and now the parents are saying they don't need me for the beginning.

Out of my 14 mindees I have only had to arrange cover for 1 under 5 full time.

What will I do with myself? Not paperwork that is for sure....

I'm only working Thursdays in the holidays and am away from 14th Aug until 30th.

I have 2 weeks off in July and every Friday off in August - a whole month - wow.

wow lucky you.....I have a planned week off in August but this year other than that, I am working full-time in the holidays for the first year since I registered. I usually manage to have part timers in the holidays and have plenty of time off for myself and my family.Last September though I inherited a child from a cm friend who was giving up and she is full time during the holidays..........I hadn't really appreciated that at the time...but nevermind.....the money will be welcome

I have the week off from when we get back from our hols on the 27th July as both mindees are on their hols so have 3 weeks off altogether so cant complain xxx

You lucky thing!......just make sure you get some rest and leave the paperwork!!!!

I have got 3 weeks off this month as away - I am soooo looking forward to it.......I need a holiday

I also have August off, July and June. Not by choice.

But decided to have some me and my lillte man time, other than his terrible two tantrums I'm loving it.

Sounds great. I am working very little at the moment due to parent leaving college for summer hols, so only leaves on part time mindee who is under 5, the rest are over 5's, so just before and after school.

Then I have the first 2 weeks of the school summer holidays booked off. Whooo hoo

I'm off 1st 2 weeks in august and only have acouple of part timers for the 2nd 2 weeks so I will HAVE to catch up on some paperwork!!! LOL!!! oh, and housework!!
