It’s Monday again!

It has come around so quickly, where does the weekend go?

Very cold here but sunny and is meant to be sunny all day. Rain back as from tomorrow.

Has anyone got anything special planned with the children this week?. Indoor water play this morning only because I have only one today and this child loves it, then out and about in the cold winter sun.

It has come round far too quickly.

We'll have a play in the snow in the garden. It's a bit too slippery to go beyond the garden. Mindee is leaving at 3 today, so a nice short day. When he's gone I've got to make a phone call about a first aid course. Mines due to expire this year.

I found some birthday stickers - candles/party hats/cake etc - in my birthday card box, so mindee can do a little creation with them at some point today. We're going to make banana cake/bread this morning and do some water colour painting on a sheet of ice. Then it will be lunch, nap and pretty much home time.

It's very icy here today, but no snow ! HURRAH!

We're going to look at Australia tomorrow for 'Australia Day'... lots of Aussie food .... Fairy Bread ( sprinkles on white bread & butter !!! ) is a top favourite, with 'snags' ( sausages ) for tea !!!. I also have pictures to 'dot paint' like aboriginal art, and lots of books & stories. My favourite is one called 'Possum Magic' by Mem Fox ... such a lovely story, with super illustrations. Its probably on Youtube! probably lots of dancing to the wiggles too!

no idea for the rest of the week! might carry the Australia theme on

Very cold and frosty here but no snow thankfully .....I don't like snow


We have been out in the garden but not for long as it was cold and they wanted to come back in so we have read stories and now making 'tea' in the water tray. This afternoon is our Yoga session.
