    Default Cars / Vans ??

Hi just wondered if anyone had a vehicle where they had 3 seats across the front. I'm looking at getting a van but it has a double passeneger seat and then 3 seats behind (so 6 seats in total) and there would be occasssion when I would have to put a car seat in the front seat. (when I have an extra child on one day or when I do school pickup) Just wondered on peoples thoughts on this as at the moment I don't put children in the front seat.

It is legal to put a child seat in the front as long as you follow manufacturer instructions (particularly about passenger airbags). It is not ideal, though, as it is said that the safest place is the rear seats. So you may get some parent concern.

We have a Ford Tourneo for the out of school club - it has 3 seats at the front and we very occasionally use one of them for an older child plus staff plus driver ...

I wouldn't put a car seat in there because of the air bags.

    I hope that helps
