Does anyone else give this to babies to play and explore with? Obviously i make sure they dont put it in their mouths but it's ok as an activity isnt it...?

Yes, but only once they are past the everything-in-the-mouth stage.

Mine play with it , a bit in their mouths won’t hurt as long as they’re supervised and bony actually eating it

One of my babies spent a good 20 mins yesterday actively crawling under the table and enthusiastically putting dried little pieces of playdough in his mouth and was most put out every time when i removed them!

I make my own playdough though, so apart from salt content, wouldn't do a huge amount of harm.

a few weeks ago a one year old ate some bright yellow playdough, that i had added tiny red sequin stars to. I did warn dad ... apparently she had a very pretty nappy!
