Question 30 hours funded childcare entitlement for 3 and 4 year-olds

    Hi all,

I'm a little confused with this 30 hours funded childcare entitlement for 3 and 4 year-olds. Apparently childminders can apply for this?
So....do I still get paid? Does the government pay me instead of the parents perhaps?

Do you fellow child minders recommend this scheme? If so; How do I go about applying?

    Thanks in advanced.

You need to speak to your LA about whether you are eligible to accept funded children...

The Govt pays the LA and the LA pays you
