Default Counting songs - my mind's gone blank!

I'm trying to think of some counting songs and rhymes, but my mind has gone blank.

We've been singing "1,2,3,4,5" and "One, two, buckle my shoe" but I can't think of any more.

I want songs that have the number in a sequence, not individually, and numbers that go up, not backwards. So I don't want things like 5 Little Ducks where it's one number per verse and the numbers go from 5 to 0.

    Any suggestions?

    Or there is

    One two three four
    Mary's at the cottage door
    Five six seven eight
    Eating cherries of a plate

I was thinking... Oh there's loads... But they all go down in counting.

All I can think of is...1,2 buckle my shoe

    That was my problem!

I was talking to a mum and saying how we were going to be singing number songs such as...um...um...I couldn't think of any! Luckily she was the same so we could laugh about it

Five little fireman standing in a row, 1,2,3,4,5 they go
Hop on the engine with a SHOUT
Quicker then a flash the fire goes out

Four little firemen standing in a row 1,2,3,4 shush they go ..........

Five birthday candles on a birthday cake
Let's count them up so there's no mistake
    1,2,3,4,5
We've counted five so there's no doubt now let's try and blow one out

    4 birthday candles.......

Three Ducks (Tune of Twinkle, twinkle)

Watch the ducks and you will see,

They are waddling one, two three,

First the smallest leads the line,

Middle sized duck thinks second place is fine,

Biggest duck is third you see,

They are waddling one, two, three.

Rhyme to help children write numbers

Number 1 is big and tall, stand him up so he won’t fall.

Number 2 goes backwards and along, please make sure you don’t go wrong.

Two little curls for number 3, one for you and one for me.

Number 4 goes down and across, give him a stick so he’s the boss.

Number 5 is a funny chap, down fat tummy and give him a hat.

Number 6 looks like a curl in your hair, twiddle it around to show that it’s there,

Number 7 starts with a hat, then goes down just like that,

Number eight makes an ‘S’ then go back to join it up.

Number 9 is like a ball on a stick, start with a ‘C’ then go up and down quick.

Number 10, that’s a lot of fun, write 1 and a nought and now it’s all done!

    I Can Count

I can count, want to see?

Here’s my fingers- one, two, three (Hold up fingers as you count)

Four and five, this hand is done.

Now I’ll count the other one.

Six, seven, eight and nine (Hold up fingers on other hand)

Just one more, I’m doing fine.

The last little finger is number ten.

Now I’ll count them all again.

One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten!

This old man he played one he played knock knack on his drum.....

I have this to prompt 'mind going blank moments'.

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...ustomerReviews

Not wonderful, but has lots of previously suggested songs on it.

Sat in car waiting for mindees to come out of club and got little ones dancing along to party songs and had to post .... "Follow da leader" counts! And counts jumps etc! Lol... Possibly not what you're after but it's fun and gets them joining in with counting in a fun way for a purpose!
