    Default Childminding and working

    Hi everyone,

I am a childminder who does solely before and after school care. I have been offered a school hours job in an office so it won't affect the children I care for. Is there any legal or other reason I wouldn't be allowed to do this?

    Thanks :-)

None at all! I know a few childminders who just look after before and after school children - and take some in the holidays because they work in schools.

You will have to register as employed and fill in 2 tax returns but apart from that nothing different
