Default Help please new to b childminding soon

    Hi Everyone

    I'm new to this site

Wondering if you could help me

I am coming to the end of my 10 week pre reg childminder course. I've done my first aid course.. already have crb check soon health check.

I am going to be registering on the Complusory Register for 5years onwards and I also believe that I don't have ofsted coming out to check being on the compulsory register. After completing the course how soon can I start childminding because I have children lined up to look after. Can I do it straight away... whilst I've sent off the final recall the stuff for ofsted

    Please could you help me

    Many thanks

    Emma

    Welcome to childminding!!

You can start work as soon as you have received your Ofsted registration certificate - it will arrive after your pre-registration visit.

    I hope that helps
