Building blocks
Does anyone have any recommendations for good building blocks? Thank you :-)

We've got several sets. Some are just plain coloured wooden blocks that you can pick up anywhere. The others are:
Manhattan Toy Create and Play Pattern Blocks: Amazon.co.uk: Baby
Hape Fantasia Blocks Castle: Amazon.co.uk: Toys & Games
Wooden Alphabet Blocks : Wooden Alphabet Blocks : Early Learning Centre UK Toy Shop
We've also got some foam bricks, a bit smaller than house bricks, but I can't find a link for those.

I like these , they are intermingled with pieces of wood we have brought back from our adventures.
Eco Tree Blocks - from Myriad Natural Toys & Crafts
Myriad have lots of lovely tactile blocks , I have a few other sets on my wishlist!

My coloured blocks came from Sainsbury and Wilkinson in the sale, great value, good quality cheap as chips.

My mindies fave bricks are the off cuts from my wood turning and we just had anew kitchen fitted and the new fave bricks are the triangles i cut off the work bench so it doesn't have corners. I just sand them down and keep n eye on them. As we use them outside to when we run out i buy some two by two and saw shapes ir cut up a few branches its great as they are so cheap i dont mind if they get painted stuck to artwork buried in sand. They are free to experiment.
