Post I want to become a child minder

Hi, I am currently a mum of a 2year old boy. For a long time now I have wanted to be a childminder and now I think it is time to do this before its to late. Looking after children is I can imagine very rewarding, watching my own grow up and learn so much makes my day every day.

While trying to do this I have the support from all my family but trying to find out where to start and the correct people of sites to be looking on I have not found this easy. Is there anyone on here that can tell me what I need to do to get started, what training I need to start and roughly how long until you can start minding.

Any help for this would be very much appreciated.

    Thank you

    Carole
