Snow expected....
Does anyone risk assess for snow or any adverse weather conditions at all? Do you document this and how? Do you all continue business as usual in snow etc?

I do have a winter weather policy which I re-send to all parents around now which amongst other things warns them that if there is too much snow I will not do nursery runs and may pick-up any school children early. With little ones and a double buggy to push as well as 3yr olds walking it may not be possible for me to walk in a lot of snow to school and back 3 times a day Your post has reminded me that I should send it out this year about now

I inform parents I will not do a school run if the weather us too icy or snowy I have to drive to school so explain I would not risk the children myself and my car

I do have an extreme weather risk assessment and try to carry on as normal. But if the schools are shut I try not to be over loaded with schoolies or lo's. Hopefully, if parents can't get into work, I'll have a shorter day or a day off. But it doesn't always work to my advantage.
