    Hi everyone
    looking for home insurance not sure which company to go with, can you please let me know which company you are with which is cheap...Admiral was cheap but doesn't cover assistants and does not allow more then 5 children at a time. thanks alot

    that's the public liability, i want home insurance not all companies cover child minding business.

    You could try Bluefin...they are Brokers and for Pacey members but they offer insurance to those who are not with Pacey.
    I have been with them for over 10 years...they do a good job and are competitive

    AA would also offer you household insurance although I found them more expensive than Bluefin.

    Lots of insurance companies will its just the restrictions that they put on that's the issue.

    I know both Barclays and NatWest will insure cms but wont cover accidential damage by a mindee.

    Aviva will also. I do believe Tesco will also.

    Unfortunately its time and error in speaking to them.

    Is it a must to have home insurance for childminding business? i have not had home insurance for last 8 years and been fine without it. not fond of paying for it as i am home most of the time.
