I have a little one starting morning nursery in Sept mum will take and l will collect, mum works at the school and l will never have this child if the school is closed l know this is true as l had her older sister until she started school and on teacher training days she goes to a family friend little sister will do the same, am l right in thinking l can count this as a vacancy and take a 3hr funded place in the morning before l collect her.

Yes, your contract will state the child starts with you at 12 noon or 3pm or whatever time you pick her up. Where the child is in the morning is of no concern. So you have a vacancy until that time you pick up.
