Thanks for this hh :-) So easy to miss these things. Does this mean a change to our safeguarding policy too?

How have they managed to make this version just 17 pages long and the previous doc was about 100?!

Thanks for that will print it off and read l like to have a hard copy as its easier to pull out and read if l suspect anything. mumofone you will only need to change your policy if there is something in the new document that you don't have in yours otherwise just add a note to say you have read and printed/stored and initial and date. the new publication of xxx dated March 2015

Just looking at the title page, sexual abuse is now sexual abuse and exploitation. I suspect most people will need to tweak their policies to include the new wording

The DfE document 'Working together to safeguard children 2013' has been archived because there will be a new one published

    https://www.gov.uk/government/upload...d_children.pdf

This is the new one dated March 2015...so all change!

The previous 'Working together to safeguard children 2013' was over 300 pages long...the new one is just 109!!

'What to do if you are worried a child is being abused' is an addition to that publication
There are several changes relating to DfE policy so we will have to tweak our policies to reflect those.

    Easter reading for all!!
