    Default 15 hours funding- Rochdale council

    Hi does anybody know the hourly rate a provider is paid for the 15 hours funded childcare?

    Every LA pays a different rate...contact the finance dept in your LA and they will inform you what the funding is.
    The DfE has also published a tool where you can look up any LA and compare rates of funding

    Good luck...and don't forget to add the Pupil Premium to your rate...that is 53p per hour for 3 and 4 year olds.

    I've never heard of this pupil premuinm before. What is it?

    On top of your funding for 3 and 4 year olds you will receive an extra 53 p per hour...that amounts to £300 per year.
    Apparently Ofsted will look at how this money improves outcomes? ....and ...oh..children in primary school receive the PP too but...that is £1300!
    Not sure why 3 and 4 year olds in school are worth more?
