    Default feeling very smug

after 35 years in childcare I have never made a 'fuss' about food. My rule is eat it or dont.

Have a 22month old who started a year ago, she brings her own lunch box which contains sausage rolls, rice cakes, fruit, yoghurts and chocolates/sweets. Other mindee (2yrs old) brings very healthy food and no 'goodies'. Recently he has noticed that little girl has more exciting things in her box and started to refuse his healthier food. So few weeks ago I decided to go back to providing food.

Today she has eaten porridge with yoghurt, followed by toast for breakfast. Fruit and water at snack time. Lamb casserole and veg for lunch, followed by fruit. It took a while of just ignoring when she didnt eat what was on offer but i am overjoyed and so are her parents.
