If i take on a self employed childminding assistant how does PLi work. I'm assuming employers liability insurance doesn't apply as they aren't employed so do they need their own PLi seperate to mine

Speak to your insurance company- you need a definite answer to this, I would not risk assuming anyone's opinions here are 100% correct with something so important .
