    Default Advice on polish new girl

    Help needed please I've just taken on a 2 1/2 year old she speaks both polish and English just wondering if there's anything i need tri being doing with her?

    If you google bilinguism...EYFS and bilingual children you will find lots of helpful hints there
    Nothing different to do ...just encourage her to communicate in both languages...share key words with parents.
    The child's 2 languages will develop at their pace and the child should have acquired good English by the time she goes to school...EYFS has lots of hints on how to do this.
    Use sign language when unsure ...any sign will do ...put pictures on the wall or wherever you can to prompt
