Hi just joined and I am after some help I have 4 minded children one of the kids have a sibbling and mum wants to send her to me can i just take her on cos her little brother is with me or do I have to apply for a variation thank you

There is no such thing as "applying for a variation". You need to read the EYFS as it gives clear guidance as what you have to do. We are all self regulating now and it is up to us to prove that we can do it, risk assess, discuss with current parents etc..
