    Default childminding granddaughter

Not quite sure on this so any help would be appreciated.
Are we allowed to look after our grandchildren & get paid?
My first granddaughter so really unsure about this.

    Thankyou.

Yes you can as long as you take on other mindees. However when you are inspected you can't have just your granddaughter there for grading purposes etc. I asked about this when I had my pre reg recently x

Yes you can childmind for your own family as long as you look after other (non relatives) too. I think in some areas though you aren't supposed to claim 2, 3 or 4 year old funding for relatives - but if they have a common or different surname whose to know!

Thanks so much for your replies.
I have other mindees as have been childminding for 7 years, just haven't had this situation before.
    Thanks again.

    Lynn xx
