You poor thing. Sadly there are people out there who actively look for situations where they can kick off about whatever it is they don't like. They think they're being clever, but actually they look stupid as they're the ones who haven't got all the facts.

Poor you I get fed up of people that judge b4 they know the facts. I had it when i was a nanny. I was in Sainsburys with my dd who was 2 (at the time) and the children i looked after, a girl (18mths) and boy (3yrs). The two i nannyed had really dark hair and were clearly brother and sister. My dd was whining "mummy" and an old man made a comment about me having too many kids so close together and by different fathers. I was so shocked i didnt have chance to say anything bac as his wife whacked him round the head with her handbag and had a go at him!!

Amazed at how rude people are. I take great pleasure in smiling at rude people and going out of my way to ask them to have a nice day.

An old lady pushed in front of me at a super market when I was a teenager at school was very rude shouting about teenagers being in her way and making her life rubbish. A shop assistant then came over and said very loudly that she must have such a busy life and important life as she had pushed me out the way to get her things first and if she would go with him he would open a till just for her. He then took 10 minutes to check her out while she did look rather red faced. I was always thankful to that bloke and always makes it easier to bare people bring rude when I think of him.

Hope you have been able to forget about it now.

Love the idea of a cupcake to give her

I have also had some terrible experiences with the older generation, unfortunately there always seems to be a few select members of each group of society who enjoy going out of their way to make life unpleasant for others

Miserable old person or someone with dementia. Just dream about tipping her in the water. No point in being upset with people like that. They are not worth the energy. Hope you have a better rest of the week.
