    Default refrigerator

Good morning, im having trouble with my fridge, it keeps freezing up. I have it on 3.5 and have cleaned it and have checked to see if the seal is broken and all seems fine. Is this a typical sign that it's on its wat out? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks x

    How old is it?
When was the last time you defrosted the whole thing?
Do you have fridge thermometer to check the internal temp?

Mine kept freezing up, only 2 years old, and I discovered I have to move the dial depending on how full the fridge is to keep it right.
I currently have a full to bursting fridge and it is on 2.5, when it's empty it can go right down to just less than 1!

    Haven't had a problem since
(Every time I fill a shelf, I turn it up a half)

Thanks for the advice kiddiwinks. I don't think it's older than five years old but I shall check and try out your advice. Thanks again :-)

Empty it and defrost it fully before turning back on, my freezer kept freezing up and then defrosting itself (always when full) repair man told me its the inbuilt thermostat when it's been partially defrosted it does this so you need to do a full defrost.
