Default Updated Childcare.co.uk iPhone app - Free Download

We have launched a brand new version of the Childcare.co.uk iPhone app. You can download it for free from the App Store at https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/chil...486849572?mt=8

We have tens of thousands of childminders using the app so I would appreciate your feedback on the new version.

Auntyem, same thing happened to me yesterday, I turned my phone off and back on and logged in again and it's fine now . Seems slightly slower loading but easy to navigate. And got someone signing up from there today, so I'm a very happy bunny x

It isn't logging you in as anyone else. When you load up the app for the first time it takes you through a demo of how the new screens look and on those screen shots it shows a pretend user.

There is an issue causing the app to crash on devices using some early versions of iOS6. We have submitted a fix to Apple and are waiting for them to approve it. I apologise for the issue and it will be resolved soon.

Mines working fine the only thing I miss is on the messages it no longer shows which have been read and which haven't? Unless I've just not found where it says it yet?
Other than that I love it!

We have submitted an update to Apple which will have this feature back in it. Sorry about that. The next update you get in the App Store in the next few days will have it. In your sent messages, messages that haven't been read will have a little black tick next to them.

If you do like the app I would really appreciate you leaving a nice review in the App Store

Quick question, I haven't figured out how to delete messages I've sent, can you advise?

I hate the fact that I have to log in every time ! I like to browse new profiles and then decide if I want them to see that I've looked at their profile or to contact them.
So for this reason I only use the laptop.

To delete a message from your inbox swipe right to left on the message when viewing your inbox and then click the trashcan icon that appears.

Due to Apple's security terms and conditions you need to be logged into the app to search and view profiles.

Hi Richard, it's actually my sent items that I want to delete, the swipe method doesn't seem to work on those (unless it's just me being dumb lol).
