I have a 'what?' child and a 'why?' child at the moment... I just smile and carry on most of the time
Hugs xx

I have a why child too, drives me crazy, give her a good explanation then she just says it again! Started saying why do you think in response, as at least she can't follow that with another why!
-
I have a 'what's that' and have to repeat myself ten times!! I also have one this week who wants me to talk to another mindee who isn't here that day on the toy phone.. Think I had that about 25
Times yesterday!! Really find the repeating phases wearing!!

At one point DS was at the "why?" stage and another little one was in the "whats that?" stage - "whats that?" "why?" "whats that?" "why?" On a continuous loop

I've got one who's going through a 'what are you doing' stage.
Helping him with his coat 'what are you doing'
Changing his nappy 'what are you doing'
Having a drink 'what are you doing'
Helping him with a puzzle 'what are you doing'

I have one who asks questions about everything!!
'Is R putting her jacket on?' When he's standing right next to her as she's doing it!
'Are we in the car?' As we're driving somewhere
It goes on ALL day!! Lol.
-
I also got for a while ' r we going in the car or walking ?' from 3 different los everytime we went out! We walk to and from school everyday and most other places and they all know that.
-
Oh I forgot the LO that says "Can I come too?" whenever we go out and continues in the car all the way there on the same day as the one that says "but I don't want to come!" all the way there! - Every school pick up and the time that DD1s "Head is in the blender" (Headache) collection from secondary school 14 miles away all the way there and back again!!!!!

Every day, on the walk to/back from school "this isn't the right way, we're going the wrong way" aaarrrrgggghhhhh!!!!!!

It gets better as they get older. I Used to have a 7 year old that constantly asked 'Would you rather?'. Ranging From Would you rather an ice cream in the North pole or an ice cram in the desert? I'd answer, then she would fire the next one at me, then the next and on it went. I used to say go and ask Johnny! OMG It went on and on and to this day refer to her as 'would you rather'. I can chuckle about it now.

I had a " huh " child.my own in fact. I used to look at him, with non verbal hints and he followed it with "what" (another look) and eventually "pardon" .i now repeat it back to him. We had a huh competition once. He won lol
