    Default Christmas do?

I'm ready an hour early for our local CM Christmas Do (no I don't get out much! ) Dinner, dancing and a casino!

Do you have a Do this year?

Wow, who organises your childminding do's? Our LEA has a party but it is for mindees too.
I really, really miss having a Christmas party, especially as DH has about five because of all the different departments he is linked to. I'm sick of staying in.

That's one of the things I miss about working in huge big wide world too! DH has a couple of Christmas parties planned but they aren't for partners too, and one includes children which kind of precludes letting your hair down IMO.

My last night out was in...err...2009. I think I'm old before my time.
Apologies for the random full stops. Phone buttons too small, thumbs too big.

We're lucky that we have a brilliant childminding group. It's been running for years and we're all friends away from childminding. We organise lots of nights out and our Christmas party is next week. Should be fun

I'm jealous! Wish we had a social cm group. None of ours are interested except me!

Having a decade birthday on the 23rd so having big family gathering with partners in my brothers massive barn converted house log fire etc like we have done for ten years but its all I want - been round the houses thinking what to do and come right back to that.

I am having a cheeky ski trip in January though as my present to myself and hubby

We had our christmas meal out last Friday. One of the groups that I go to is very pro active and we make a point of going out every 3/4 months for a meal and quiz night. I am so glad that we have this opportunity.

i used to have 2 christmas do's as a CM. One all the CM's from the drop in went out for a meal/dance and then me and a closer group of CM's met for a xmas meal/night out.

This year I've had no work one - they are having it in February instead but I'm going out with my uni group the Thurs before xmas and i already had a meet up with my small group of CM's though only 1 of us is still a minder.
