I have received two posters today, musical instruments one and outside/garden one. The instruments gives more info than the outside one?????Are Ofsted confusing or what?

I said to my inspector on wednesday that I had just received the new poster with the musical instruments on it but wasn't sure whether it needed to go up yet or to wait until September and keep the current one up until then. She said it doesn't really matter which one is up

OK, I'm confused - I have been sent a Parents Poster with my reg cert last week. It has a group of children playing outside, there is a traffic cone in the picture and the children are dressing up. It states Ofsted registers for under 8's. Is this OK to use?

I was sent the garden one a week and a half ago!

I had to ring and ask about the change in registers, and ask for the letter that had been sent out to others about it, I wouldn't have known anything about it had I not read it the internet! (Whilst looking for something else too!!).

I am so glad I stumbled across this forum, I've learned so much already!

I was really thinking seriously about giving it up even though I was a minder from 1987 to 2002 and have just started work again. I love my job but Ofsted have made it a nightmare but being in this group/forum has made the world of difference to me and now instead of thinking about giving it up and being terrified of Ofsted, I'm thinking more along the lines of telling Ofsted what I think of them when they come!

Everyone is very friendly and will always reply and help you and it's all so much clearer when explained by the girls.

You are doing a good job with the little ones and that is the main thing - you will be fine keep things simple and dont panic

I have the one with children playing instruments, i got it about a month ago and its the only one i have ever had. I had it up yesterday when i had my inspection and nothing was said about it being the wrong or right one!!

Ok.... well ive just read through 5 pages of this thread after remembering that I have a really old version of this document that I needed to get around to changing (along with 50 million other things

) and have come to the conclusion that there seems to be 2 latest forms, one of which only comes into effect with the EYFS so no point chasing Ofsted for a copy til September?

Yeah I got the new poster a few weeks or so back - then ofsted sent me a new certificate (dd going to school sept) and guess what was in the envelope? The OLD certificate! ha

I recieved the music one awhile back. Then today with my new cert i got one with them playing wwith a parachute. Um i thought that was an old one.

i think i have loads of them, i have moved house twice since i started minding and i seem to get a new one every time a get another letter from them.

I have the new one it was sent with my new certificate for my new address last week (i now have the new type of certificate aswell) but in another envelope they sent me another different poster with children playing in a garden with a parachute not knowing which one to use i now have two on my wall!!!!
