    Default recording schemas??

    i in the process of learning about schemas and would like to introduce them to the childrens learning journals, any ideas how i can record them? does anyone know of a template to use?

    i hope this makes sense haha!!

    They are part of the child's characteristics - how the child learns.

    If you record the characteristics then you can just extend them to include schemas.

    I love schemas! I find them totally fascinating

    me too! i have a tick sheet on my planning for activities to say if it supports schematic play. If I see an schemas in an obs, I note it in the evaluation section. However, for children who have a obvious ongoing schema i have a separate evaluation sheet so I can note the things they do in the different learning areas so that it helps me with planning.
