    Default transition

    Can anybody advise me on what happens when a child leaves and is going to another childminder, and what do i give Parents? thanks in advance!

    No, LJ belongs to the child/parents.
    Ofsted only want to see things related to the children you have with you, or on your books, on the day they inspect you.

    It is nice to let the parents know that if the new childminder would like to talk to you to help the transition that you would be happy to do so and that parent can pass on your info (if you are happy with that). A final summary of their progress is nice too, for them to give to new setting.

    No, they will only want to see those of your currrent mindees- not of the ones that have left your setting x
